YAY!!!!!

1 min read
Well today is a great day because the calender I ordered from :iconnathie: here arrived today. I buy :iconnathie:'s calender every year and this one did not disappoint. As usual there is a whole years worth of sexy men beautifully presented and totally drool worthy :drool::drool::drool::faint:

The sewing cabinet I ordered from Chrisco also arrived today and I spent half the day putting it together. I am rather proud of the fact I got it done and without a single use of profanity. :giggle:

To all those people who have given me fave's, Lama badges and Watches.
There are just so many of you and I don't have the time to go through and thank you all personally so I am thanking you all in my journal. I know it is kind of cheating but I feel bad about not answering all your messages and as this is the only way I can thank everyone....
Thank you  all :glomp::hug::love:

I am so slack

2 min read
I have just realized that it has been 11 months since I updated my journal, almost an entire year.
Well nothing much has changed with me, I am a year older, 34 now. Yes I am proud of the fact I am over 30 and I am also proud of my increasing number of grey hairs :giggle:
We have added a turtle to our family and bought a new (second hand 7 year old car) which is a step up from our little silver hatchback. It is a sedan so it has a lot more room for the kids in the back and a huge boot as well as a kick ass aircon which is a necessity here in the tropics.
My daughter is almost 12 and my son, my baby is 10. I taught myself to crochet off the internet and I have a hundred different unfinished craft projects all around the house which for some reason makes me happy.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and happy New Year and that 2012 will be a good one. :love:

Well we dodged the perverbial bullet when TC Yasi turned South and away from us.
We only got power back this morning Sat 5th Feb so we were three days without it but at least we still had running water. My brother-in-law had power the entire time so he took the kids for the last two days which helped a lot.
Last I heard my mother-in-law was still without power and was staying at my brother-in-laws and aside from my uncle that was in Cardwell when Yesi struck, all my family and friends are accounted for.
Living in Edmonton just South of Cairns we were lucky to have only a few light branches down on the tree in the back corner and no damage at all to the house. I am so happy it did not hit us but so very sorry for all those south of us who lost their homes and lively hoods. My thoughts are with my fellow Queenslanders/ Australians.
